The project is located at Bheemilipatnam, Vishakhapatnam District, Andrah Pradesh, India. A water treatment unit was needed to combat the scourge of water-borne diseases (typhoid, cholera), which were particularly amplified by the devastating effects of 2014 HudHud Cyclone
A water treatment unit has been implemented for Saint Ann English Medium & Telugu Medium School (2000 students), Bheemili boarding school and dispensary.
Beneficiaries of the project are more than 2400 people.
The unit produces up to 500 l/h of drinking water per day, i.e. 12 cubic meters per day.
