In February 2013, the construction of the borewell meant for the Fathima Colony at Madugula district has been inaugurated. This borewell will allow this excluded community more commonly known as “intouchables” to have access to “improved” water but also to keep the property of their granted land by the government.
Sr Shiny Chacko said: “Here people don’t even have an idea of shower, they carry water near by sources and bath minimum facility”.
